Whole leg of lamb and veggies in white wine, braised for 5 hours (Jamie Oliver recipe) and whilst I’m not the biggest fan of lamb it was really good, melt in the mouth and the veggies, too. Definitely one we’ll do again, although kids weren’t keen on eating Flossy so they had to have chicken breasts casseroled with roasties and normal veg.

Never really thought about cooking smoked salmon, although I suppose it does get warmed through in pasta dishes?
