Sorry Grant, but I’d take Barry’s celebration dinner over your mince, no offence intended! . Looks very good indeed Barry, and congrats on whatever you had cause to celebrate!

Well tonight we will be eating risotto, using some low fat minced beef bought from the Co-op. Pudding will most likely be profiteroles (also from the Co-op; as we prefer them over the offerings available from Tesco or Waitrose.) Pictures to follow.

    As promised some pictures.

    The prepared ingredients

The meal, beef risotto with sugar snap peas and brocolli

(The eagle-eyed amongst you will note that the rice is a mixture of Basmati and Arborio rice, as we only discovered during preparation that we did not have enough Arborio rice. )

And as predicted, profiteroles for pudding

Looks tasty Barry. Another of your dishes I’ve not made in a long while! (I’m doing a batch of Ratatouille tonight which has become a family favourite since you posted about it a few weeks ago so thanks for that!)

Haven’t posted a dinner for a while - just means it’s something I’ve made and posted before, not that I’ve stopped Eating, Roy...
