    Fish (haddock) and chips and mushy peas for me too, from the local(ish) chippy - I’m stuffed and there was quite a lot left over. Was lovely.

    Not sure how long they’ve been running it, but it could easily still be in the 1960’s - they only take cash, for example! (It was only after COVID hit that they stopped using newspaper for the outer wrapping!) One guy I was talking to in the queue does a 38 mile round trip as he says they are the best in Suffolk. Certainly the best we’ve found so far, and only an 11 mile round trip for me!
