They sure do mate, but being Italian, pasta is eaten on its own, made the Italian way, NEVER as an accompaniment to a meat dish
Some simple boiled rice would've been perfect, but as I'd had Chinese lemon chicken with rice the night before, I didn't want rice twice in a row (you know I like variety)
Noodles are Chinese, so I'd only have them with Chinese/Thai food. It's just me, mate, or rather how continentals and most other nations eat (outside the UK), which is only to have stuff that is traditionally enjoyed together or part of a recognised recipe/dish. You don't just bung anything onto a plate, 'cos it's 'food'.
