    Rather tasty although I might have overdone the nutmeg. Still some of it will spill over into the Italian ones

    a pukka microwave steak pie and mash(microwaved too) a little basic but these pies are quite good.. hold their shape and taste better than many expensive ones.

    Added some gravy from meatballs

    Roast beef, with roast potatoes and parsnips, spring cabbage, brocolli and green beans.



    Pudding was profiteroles with an obscenely rich chocolate sauce and cream.

    Washed down with a 2015 Chateau Carignan, Cadillac, Bordeaux

    Venison steak, with a root mash (potato, carrot and swede), carrots, fennel, green beans and a red cabbage, onion and walnut and pine kernel compote.



    Pudding was traditional Christmas pudding with vanilla ice-cream.

    Washed down with a 2007 Chateau Boscq, St Estephe. (My last bottle! )
