Del was playing in the kitchen earlier and made these... First uncooked:
Nice little Xmas shapes! The pastry is made from eggs, salted butter, flour, olive oil and some vanilla extract. The filling is chopped almonds and liqueur (alcohol content is Italian rum, a sweet pink liqueur, typically from Tuscany, called 'Alkermes', Amaretto and an Italian equivalent of Pernod):
Cooked... The finished article, dusted with icing sugar (all decoration done by hand):
And they're delicious - if you like buttery, nutty things with a soft liqueur filling!
