From around the middle of August? I guess as most food tends to have a darker hue it would stand out more on a lighter coloured background, I was using black plates (generally) before.

Decided to cook that bacon.
So first a hot bath to get rid of all the white proteins etc. Then cook on stock til stock all but gone. Then into the air fry at 160c for about 10 min

yup and much of the unhealthy amounts of salt is gone. You get the bacon and the light stock flavour. Garlic and thymeoooh, nice and crispy!

Churz, mate, but it's a pastry flan. You like pastry, don't you?
So think of it as a big open sausage roll, with lovely light flaky, buttery pastry, but full of nicer and healthier stuff than sausage meat!
They were both lovely, although pic-wise, I should've taken a few shots of the flans sliced on a plate, as with both being close-ups, you can't really see what the pastry looked like.
