plenty meat left. a pork fillet is one of the best buys in a butchers
Agreed! It's tasty and goes far. Nice one on your use of the steaming basket and induction hob. If you can prep things the day before and get into a routine of making tasty, simple homecooked food, you'll eat much more healthily and save a fortune too, as you pay for the 'convenience' of eating that plastic crap.

    Fab.
That was better than restaurant quality..
Don't doubt it, and also far better than any processed ready meal, so keep it up and you'll reap the benefits!

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

Just some simple antipasti (with chicken liver pate, infused with Grand Marnier) and crusty bread, enjoyed for lunch earlier in the Wrexham sunshine, accompanied with a nice chilled glass of white:

Reached 22C here, and was lovely!

Having Del's homemade steak pie with mash for tea...Pics later
