    Nice one, mate. That's about as traditional Italian as it gets. My mum and gran used to make it all the time! Normally though, with smaller 'soup sized' tortellini'

    i think they are actually smaller than that picture.. its a dish i used to get at xmas in my fav italian place in leith when i was working there. certainly no bigger than an inch each.

    No worries, plus they'll expand a little when boiled. If you like that, I'll get Del to make you some when you visit [from my mum and gran's recipe]. The secret is to get maximum flavour into the broth by using a really good, fresh chicken stock, and sprinkle in some fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese

    yes looked good.. im not big on that type of cake but like a small slice on occasion.. more of an apple or rhubarb pie man
