OK, What's For Lunch or Tea Today?

Anyway, today's lunch... Free-range corn-fed chicken breast (on the bone) in a white wine and Dijon mustard sauce with fresh spinach, smoked lardons, a touch of cream, fresh thyme and rosemary, with San Marzano vine tomatoes, green beans and Jersey Royal new potatoes:









Washed down with a lovely crisp, chilled Sémillon Blanc, from New Zealand, enjoyed in the beautiful Wrexham sunshine - currently just a shade under 24C!

Can't go wrong with a big of Spag, Roy! Have you ever tried using tagliatelle instead of spaghetti? Trust me, it works better and is more authentic

What pasta I use relies on what jar / packet I come across in the cupboard first.

With the addition of kidney beans and spices last night's 'bolognese' becomes a chilli. With the curry the night before that a half kilo pack of mince has fed me three times and there's some chilli left to freeze.

Pork ribs, as mentioned earlier, with a small side-salad, dressed with extra-virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, and some freshly ground rock salt and black pepper:







No dry leaves there!
