The top pick... rib, was the best.

The marinaded salmon was a really refreshing in-between cuts break.

Like meat? South America. Go. It's an order.

Oh look more rib... and 'baby beef' - the cut furthest away in the pic.

    I am stuffed. Literally.

All the meaty bits look great - defo top notch! How much of that lot did you actually eat?

What's the crumbly yellow stuff in the fifth picture, next to what looks like 'fish fingers', but probably aren't... And the brown and white 'rice ball' thing under the picture of the wine? Was that Prata beer good? I love the bottle!

The beer was unknown but a lovely light lager. The bottle next to it was water.

Far more cuts of beef passed our way than you can see. You place a stop go card on your table as the waiters whizz around with various cuts of lamb, beef and pork.

The sides were a guess from a list of 9 options in Brazilian. None of the staff spoke English well enough to tell us what they were.

If your card is on go you get swamped, like dealers feeding an addict.

The yellow stuff was some eggy mix. The brown rectangular things were an excellent spiced chip. Had two lots of those, two lots of onion rings, just masses of meat. Wife couldn't believe how much I got through. Missed desert pics...

In all 400 Reals or £80.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

It was... the rib had the best taste but not the best texture. For that we felt the shoulder was best.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
