The main point I wanted to highlight in the picture though, was how I think ice-cream [any flavour of such] should look!
You didn't reply to my question of if you remembered the superior product served in ice-cream vans before the invention of 'Mr Whippy', or what you thought of the latter in comparison?

I used to make my own. Had a machine to do it with and it worked great. (daughter has it now and used it a week or so actually)
