T-bone steak, medium rare, with new potatoes,green beans, brocolli and a sort of ratatouille consisting of: sautéed onion, garlic, red yellow and orange peppers and tomatoes.
Fresh pinapple (snap Grant!) to follow and all washed down with a bottle of 2007 Chateau Le Boscq, Saint Éstephe (one of the last two bottles I have left).

Basically the broth below plus shin of beef, with noodles and coriander plus spring onion and egg.
I forgot about the need to slow cook beef shin. I had marinated it in hoisin for a couple of hours but it really would have been a lot better slow cooked for about 3 hours.
Froze a load of the stock for a better attempt next time. The broth is good.
Need a ramen bowl with a wider aperture.

Lunch today was at Tony Macaroni's in Livingston.
Had Pollo alla Diavola followed by 3 kinds of ice cream. Vanilla strawberry and toffee.
All very nice although the pasta could have been hotter. Place was very busy considering it just opened.
Then a cake appeared with much singing from staff etc. Red neck time.
