    It was a tub of powder from morrisons best range.
    Just add milk slowly and stir.
    It was rather good and as good as I've tasted. 3 peppercorn sauce

    Yes it is nice. One thing i dont make is Peppercorn sauce. I get Schwartz two for a squid..

    Good stuff, mate. I'm a big fan of peppercorn sauces. I like using pink and green peppercorns in them (when we have them), as it looks really nice... Anyway, between yesterday and today it looks like you've had a nice birthday

    Why not, dude? We always do (with fresh cream, brandy, stock, etc) and it comes great!

    No chance using Cream or Brandy in this household, Its basically not worth the bother tho..

    Lol - ok, but we'll have to agree to disagree on that one!

    Why the aversion to cream or brandy? Neither cream nor 'cooking Brandy' [read as a half a bottle of anything half-decent from a supermarket] are expensive, and they're two fundamental ingredients of fresh peppercorn sauces.
