    Not if you don't have roast chicken all the time... As I've said before, *nothing* is fattening, eaten in moderation

    Besides, what's the point in rubbing a herb or spicy marinade into the skin of a chicken, before roasting, to add flavour, if you're going to discard the skin later?

    Lol, but most of the flavour from the marinade is still stuck to the skin... That's why I eat the skin ALONG with the meat, after the bird's been cooked, then portioned up that way - *much* tastier!!

    Most of the skin gets gobbled when plating up! The legs are usually saved for lunches in the week, and gnawed on bone in. Whatever's left will go in a curry or similar, missus especially will eat anything that remotely resembles meat.
