Ah I see, sorry to hear that... Yeah, major advances in dental care have mostly been responsible. My dad's still got a couple of his own teeth left at 86, but his problem is receding gums. I've still got all mine. and they're good and strong.

I know that 54 isn't all that old, but so far I haven't 'fallen apart' like a lot of people my age and much younger!

Looks like it was a lovely evening, too. Did you enjoy it with a nice glass of red?

Thanks Marco. Was quite nice but could have done without either the olives or the walnuts, one too many ingredients to be honest. No wine in the house, having just spent a week on antibiotics for a UTI
A mainly digital setup with a musical amplifier and endearing 1970's speakers. A CD player that hardly ever gets used and a turntable that is good enough to remind my how enjoyable my old vinyl is. Some cables and things.

Whenever abroad if possible we always do McGonads. Once.

This McGonad looked hopeless and nothing like the pics that sold it to us. I was worried. Could it be like Barcelona (clue: fucking terrible)?

Nope. Burger meat was excellent. Brazilian beef, I assume. Much better than we get. Cheese looked like American, but was much cheesier. Bacon not the lame British stuff but genuinely crispy.

As good as a Five Guys if not slightly better.

    Genuinely surprised.

Chips standard McGonads, though. Five Guys much better.

Shame the menu pics didn't come out well.

Yeah. Better than yesterday but it's filter coffee kept warm. Hey, ho.

Most normal people would think it fine

However you need to look closer.
