A mainly digital setup with a musical amplifier and endearing 1970's speakers. A CD player that hardly ever gets used and a turntable that is good enough to remind my how enjoyable my old vinyl is. Some cables and things.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

    Looks decent Grant.

I was thinking about having fish today myself.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Moo Bloo pie (steak and stilton) with Bisto embellished with Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, coriander, black pepper and miso. Miso is an excellent ingredient for gravy I just thought I'd try it and believe me it works.

Spring greens and bubble an squeak. Spring onions to top.

    Immensely enjoyable.

No Pieminister. Better than homemade unless you are really, really good at small pies.

I was hoping you were going to say that! Not that I doubt your skills, but it's the time factor - have made pies in the past, but it is a very time consuming affair - would have considered it for "Moo Bloo" which sounds fantastic but if I can buy one ready made - so much the better!

If you have a Waitrose somewhere you can find that pie. Moo Bloo is their best. Most of the time the steak is ace but I did have a dodgy one a while back.

I agree pie making is a bit of a pain.
