No rules Grant! Had an old Panasonic bread-maker that’s still going strong after 25+ years. Used to make bread with it every day for years. You won’t find me knocking it, as it makes great loaves, and good pizza dough too.

The fish looked nice, Roy, but sorry those chips aren't for me... They look rather dry/pale and crispy/thin, like reheats, inside of 'fat and juicy' and nicely coloured, as they should be, when they've been freshly cut and fried. Your own chips are far better, IMHO!

No, the chips were very nice. They’re a bit anaemic but tasted good & texture was fine. Got some lamb from that butchers, watch this space

Fair enough, mate, as long as you enjoyed them, but they're defo not my kind of chips. My old man owned two chippies for over 40 years, and he'd never have sold stuff like that.

Chips shouldn't be "anaemic" - if you truly care about the quality of the food you're selling to customers - they should be perfect every time!

Anyway, more importantly, I look forward to seeing your lamb, which I'm sure will be fab!

Thanks Marco, just one of those things really, don’t even know when I did it but it just gradually got worse. Currently doped up to the gills and doing a bit of swimming as low impact exercise. I’m fine as long as I’m either standing or flat out but sitting (and driving are a complete no go at the moment.
