A sort of beef goulash with boiled potatos, savoy cabbage, carrot, and steamed fennel, leek, sugarsnap peas and tenderstem broccoli

Washed down with a 2020 Merlot (14.5% ABV)

Dessert was an apple and sticky toffee crumble with single cream.

I think you must be the healthiest eater on here Barry, definitely getting your five a day!

Sorry Grant, but that chicken fettuccine, I hope it tasted better than it looked! just joking, I’m sure it was lovely!

I only post meals I’ve not shown before, not been very innovative in recent days! Need to research the recipe books...

Did you keep the eyes off those spuds to see you through the week?

Needs some gravy and a bit more meat I reckon love a Merlot though.

I prefer to cook potatoes with the skins on (as that is where all the vitamines etc. reside), so just give them a good scrub and remove as you have noticed any 'eyes' and spade 'cuts'.

There was a more meat left in the pan: but as Alex had noted we did go a bit overboard with the veg. Not that I'm complaining - I love vegetables.
