Nice bit of soupage there so far, dude

I'm having king prawn pil-pil later (spicy dish with lots of chilli, garlic and olive oil), followed by veal escalopes in a fresh lemon and parsley sauce. Pics to come!

Not bad. More Jalepenos next time. They shrink a lot when on top like that.

Just leafing through this birthday prezzy from my sister. It’s an absolute treasure-trove of Mediterranean living and cooking. A travel book and compendium of great rustic recipes and methods.

    Love it.

A mainly digital setup with a musical amplifier and endearing 1970's speakers. A CD player that hardly ever gets used and a turntable that is good enough to remind my how enjoyable my old vinyl is. Some cables and things.

As promised, pan-fried veal escalopes in a fresh lemon, butter and parsley sauce, with accompanying seasonal fresh veg:

Gorgeous.... We defo don't eat enough veal in the UK [and can be quite hard to get] - in Tuscany, it's more popular than chicken!
