I love how so many people here make amazing food at home.
We have been hitting drive through windows every day for the last 5 years due to Conner's sports .
Now for the last 3 weeks every single meal has been cooked at home.
Yesterday we got some New England cod and made fish and chips ,the only time Americans call French fries chips!
She got the fish perfect , crunchy on the outside and flaky and moist on the inside.
The fries where a little rushed but they where still good.

I know this is going to seem weird but I like horse radish on my fish and tomato, garlic chili sauce on my fries. Not a big fan of Tater sauce but I like vinegar on both some times.
I had a cup of iced tea (Tetlys with Ribina Black Current juice added to sweeten it ) it was really good.

It may look a mess but don’t judge me until you’ve tried it. Stale bread chunks, Basil, Tomato (lots), Red Onion, Garlic, S&P, Red Wine Vinegar (Red is best, trust me), Good Olive Oil (lots) and whatever else you want to add (in this case leftover Chorizo and Chicken). Gets better as the flavours infuse at room temperature.

Mistley Bakery is open again this morning.

I’m liking the combo of Wholemeal Starter and White Bread Flour for sourdough loaf.
