    A plastic owl someone lent me when I had a third floor flat that was empty for a time, Olly stood on the balcony to deter pigeons nesting there.

    They used him as a perch / toilet.

    Cleared raised beds yesterday - thousands of white fly swarming all over the place when i cleared the brassicas.

    Any suggestions for what to put in now? I looked it up and suggestions seem to be onions, garlic and broad beans for early start next spring.

    strong smelling plants are good.. spray your plants often with a soapy mixture. that will help kill the young. water an washing up mix usually
