There's a YouTube video showing somebody picking the Era invincible cylinder lock in less than three minutes, although he admits it took some practice. So much for pick and bump proof lol

Somebody will always get into something if they *really* want to... It's still a deterrent, compared with inferior locks, and burglars will always choose the easiest door to break through.

Besides, even if someone gets through the ERA, there are still two dead bolts, top and bottom, then this to 'navigate':

...and then an alarm system, together with my 'house weaponry'...!

P.S that side of the door still needs done up and painted, as it leads to our hallway, which is a project we're currently working on.

The front garden and drive are gravelled and this year are covered in moss and tiny weeds, so much so that in some places there is a green tinge from a distance.

Three weeks ago, I dosed all over with Pathclear but the moss and weeds appear unaffected. Does it take longer to work in the Winter ?

Path clear has probably been altered to be based on white vinegar if it is anything like other weed killers.
    Check the composition.

The Pathclear appears to have killed off most of the weeds, even though it has taken 5 weeks. Hasn't done much to the Moss though.

When the weather improves I will try Vinegar and salt. See how that goes.

Standard pathclear wont do much against moss. Need a dedicated moss killer.

I've just ordered 4 ltr of white vinegar from E-Bay and will mix that with salt. Hopefully will do the job.

Pathclear kills trees - how come it doesn't kill the moss ?
