over past 3 months i have had the privelige of working on a fabulous garden [ i think] next to a park with wonderful trees . its in the site of an old psychiatric hospital . it had a pond which we had to fill in. I just love the place , its nearly ready for its new occupant who i think will love it too

ou might slip, you might slide, you might
Stumble and fall by the road side
But don't you ever let nobody drag your spirit down
Remember you're walking up to heaven

Don't let nobody turn you around
… Walk with the rich, walk with the poor
Learn from everyone, that's what life is for
And don't you let nobody drag your spirit down

Nice when trees in other gardens add to your view, boundaries tend to "disappear"

    Lovely rose, is it scented?
Just beginning to plant a few roses myself - just started a few "Compte de Chambord" and up couple of "Claire Austin". Obviously a long way to go before they match that beauty though

Sadly not, unless one buries one face into them.
That rose (according to the previous owner) is 40+ years old!
Still, patience is a virtue and all that.

    This is my favourite though..

It was here when I bought the place.

I cut the grass today. Not much else to report really!
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Me too, though the garden shed could do with a coat of "creosote".
