Default Kef Reference 104.2 - Serviced and excellent

A superb pair of Kef Reference 104.2 in rosewood. This pair have been serviced by Mike Powell, the first class engineer in Bolton, and have had the doughnuts replaced in all four woofers! A wonderfully balanced sound and flat response is the order of the day of these speakers which compare very favourably with high end speakers available now.

They are in superb cosmetic condition with some sun fading to one the only real cabinet issue. They also come with the grilles although one has a small hole and pull.
£475 will secure purchase and give the buyer a genuinely high end speaker for a bargain price. Given the money invested in servicing, this represents an absolute bargain.

I'll look in to it. The packaging would be an on cost of course for double boxing and high impact foam.

I remember hearing a pair of these at a show at Heathrow in the 90s. The dem was in a massive room in the basement of this hotel and they were sat in the middle of the room. They were playing a vinyl version of Donald Fagen's The Nightfly (Walk Between The Raindrops) It is really the only dem that still remains in my head to this day as it was (IMO) so right. The sound was sublime and the vocals just hung in the air. The bass performance was sublime.
