A mainly digital setup with a musical amplifier and endearing 1970's speakers. A CD player that hardly ever gets used and a turntable that is good enough to remind my how enjoyable my old vinyl is. Some cables and things.

And managed to get my hands on one bottle each of these a couple of weeks a go, Unicorn whiskies!
That's totally natural colour on the 8YO, bottled at 57.1% ABV

I will be I terested to know your thoughts on the 8 YO. I tend to find anything under 12 is a bit young, and has not matured enough, in my opinion. You still get that strong alcohol taste, which covers up the complex tastes behind it.

I cracked open these last night; very impressed, more so with the Caol Ila Provenance... Toffee apples and coal tar soap in one hit

I could do with adding another Whisky to my collection, to replace the Lagavulin 16 I've got in a crystal decanter, which I'm trying to run down, as the smoke is putting me off, but not quite sure what to get...
Need to get a nice vintage port too, for Christmas, but I'll pick that up tomorrow in Tanners, when I collect the Beaujolais Nouveau. Fancy some lunch tomorrow in Chester, whilst I'm there and do a spot of Christmas shopping, while the 'lower orders' are at work and the shops are quiet!
