(The wine has a dark purple color. The bouquet is tight and intense, with aromas of black cherry, crème de cassis, elderberry, and blackberry. A dominant floral note also appears, along with a hint of pink peppercorn and sweet spices like cinnamon and vanilla. On the palate, the Bordeaux grape blend is both striking and silky. It wraps well on the palate, the tannins are tenacious yet velvety, lending the wine its structure and length.)

45% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc

    Double gold medal winner 2023.

    Tasting notes:
Intense ripe fruits and freshness, with rounded tannins.

    Aroma:
Ripe plum, cassis, floral hints, cedar complexity.

13.5% ABV. Drink by end of 2028. About £15 a bottle.

    Sounds good:

    Yaiza Blanco Seco

    19,00€

Esencia de Yaiza is the genuine expression of Lanzarote's artisan viticulture. Upon arrival at the winery, we hand-select the volcanic malvasia from the best farms on the island. Afterwards, the grapes are fermented in tanks using cold maceration techniques, producing a highly expressive wine characterized by its freshness and aromatic personality.
