Glenfiddich Project XX

The second release in Glenfiddich's Experimental Series is their Project XX expression, which was made not simply by one Malt Master, but 20! 20 Malt Masters were invited to the Glenfiddich distillery and invited them to pick any expression from the thousands of casks maturing in the warehouse. The 20 chosen whiskies were then married by Malt Master Brian Kinsman to create this single malt you see before your eyes. Hooray for teamwork!

Will be interested to know how you find it, not a huge fan of the standard Glenfiddich but I do have a couple of bottles a 14 year old and something else.

quite rich, but of summer fruit like pears and a medium spice;; cinnamon in there too... very nice; you'd like it i think

currently about 50 notes but occasionally cheaper. but its a premium, if nas whisky, and some of contents are of decent age i think.

looking at stock ive a hazelburn 10 yr old and 2 springbanks; a 12 @55.3% and a 15 yr old @ 46%... the way prices are now with them they are worth a fair bit now.. glad i didnt thrink them, and a pity i drank the others lol

They are worth a few quid now, it was interesting the email came in ,and you had to phone to order the 10 year old Springbank and the others, all gone in less than 20 minutes

Can't recall what I paid for them tbh. Not as much as they can go for now, even from purveyors.

I'm not drinking now anyways so they will just sit there, hopefully going up in price
