Looks a good deal darker than the one I drank. I can imagine the flavours develop somewhat over that time. The Bog standard Knockando is very light and ethereal?

yeah the 12 is a bit lighter in colour and character the 15 is a bit fuller and better for it i think, but everyone is different. i wouldnt call it a sherry whisky but there are sheried influences there..Originally Posted by Jimbo

Another nice sherried whisky . smooth as silk get has a nice warming finish. There is some fruit peel in this too but for all the warmth the smoothness never leaves it.
