I have had the Redbreast Lustau, the 12 and 12 cask straight,I have the 15 but have not opened it yet.
So far I like the 12 cask straight the best with a 1/2 tea spoon of water. The Lustau edition is sweeter, but not as complex, It just seems like the green apple, and floral flavors are lost to me.
The sherry while subtle still changes and makes it a little 1 dimensional to me. Your thoughts?
The review I did went like this..

    my 'lady of the night'

A little stronger and a little younger and more brash perhaps, but still a fine version of the 12 yr old.
Sophisticated opening leads to a drier, less sweet finish, with a bit more fire in the belly... my 'lady of the night'

    No laughing now. Lol.
It's good but the dryness and excess cinnamon in finish isn't imo ideal for a sherry. I think it might be the spirit not bring aged enough. Possible a section of it should have been put in a different sherry butt but of course it wouldn't be lustau then.

I'm really enjoying this Organic Italian white wine - can't tell you what the grapes are but it's an 'ancient mixture' apparently!

Lovely light straw gold, fresh, aromatic, ripe peaches and citrus fruits; it would also be the perfect accompaniment to fish …

    Taken from the Oddbins site:

The infinite (well, 500 plus) variety of grapes to be found in Italy is a source of constant wonderment. Of these varieties - Trebbiano, Passerina and Pecorino - go particularly well together. Found in the Marche region on the east coast of central Italy, they have combined to form, in this instance, a wine with gentle chamomile and acacia flavours, apple-y acidity and surprising body.

I thought they went bust years ago! All the ones I remember (in various locations) have long gone. Are there any left in Scotland? Not that I've seen.
