I'll be getting a bottle of Rittenhouse at some time. Every reviewer that has tried the Old F'er has absolutely loved it .
Having just had a couple glasses my self ,i can say it is the best rye I have tried and has some of the flavors of an Irish malt .
I really think you would love it, some have said they spent the money on the mash not the bottle.

We have a similar and opposite problem the us has. Imported stuff from States is usually very expensive or not available at all.
Scotch is probably similar over there. Pikesville rye as an instance is £72 here plus delivery a bottle taking it into luxury levels

Here it is $45.00 to $55.00 for Pikesville 110, but we have sales tax and taxes on booze. $50.00 + tax $56.55 in California.

Looks promising Grant the color of that rye is pure sunshine.
I normally like a darker drop but I've had golden yellow with a lot of fruitiness and still some spice, I wonder how much of the mash bill is corn?
Could be i'm way off but most of the rye Ive had that have that golden yellow color are 51% rye and 49% corn and they tend to be a little sweeter.

It's 10% malted rye, 90% unmalted rye.. All Canadian. Then in 3 different oak casks.
Dry and spicy. Needs a drop of h2o for me
