Oh right, I thought they had finished it by now. Supposed to have started a few years ago when raising capital. Obviously not enough. Lol.

    Sure it'll be nice.

Tonight it a bottle open night.
    Glenmorangie quinta ruban.

Morangie were the pioneers of cask finishes. This is 14 now but used to be less
. Its improved on my recollection too.
Slow legs, and a fairly thick mouthfeel. Lots of fruits in this and obviously port too. Sure there is shortbread too.
Anyway a great slow, warm finish and as smooth as a babies bottom. A single mil of water to a large glass, maybe 60ml.

I bought a couple of bottles a few days ago (on offer in "Sainsburys" supermarket £26). Used to be my favourite malt, but not had a bottle for about ten years - will let you know what I make of it in a few days. I don't remember it having any peat in the past, always light/floral/citrus to my taste.

Sod's law - bought the whisky, and had an attack of gout the same evening (before I had a chance to try it), so I am laying off alcohol for a few days
