    Default Fuse

Evening all, I have a house alarm and the box with the battery and all the wiring gubbins is in my bedroom cupboard, I noticed the other day it was very warm almost hot to the touch.i installed a new battery but it remained very warm so I checked the fuse, the shiny ends were discoloured, a mix of brown white discoloration, so I replaced it, had the fuse blown or had it just come to the end of its life? Should have kept it to post a pic alarm box is now at room temperature
