A wee head's up, chaps... Just back from Morrisons, where I wanted to get a bottle of the Rioja recommended by Olly Smith last week on BBC1's Saturday Kitchen: Marques De Los Rios Rioja Gran Reserva 2012, for £12 [great value for an award-winning Gran Reserva]



I'll report on that one in due course, which should be a stonker [I'm sure Alex might be tempted to bag a bottle], but while I was in there I noticed a superb selection of wines being offered in a 'two for £10' deal - quality wines that would ordinarily sell for around £2-3 more a bottle, such as cru Beaujolais, Montepulciano D'Abruzzo, Oz Shiraz, etc.

I nabbed these for a fiver each, and which I *know* would normally cost significantly more:



And no bloody screw tops in sight!
