Possibly but my next inline purchase will be for De Dolle Oerbier. The finest bottled ale I have ever drink.

Sooooo so hard to get hold of, though.

I’m on the Primitivo from Majestic tonight and it’s delicious.

Zinfandel and Primitivo are virtually the same grape but you wouldn’t believe it from this offering - it’s much more subtle and three dimensional than the Zin I tried earlier.
A lot of Primitivos can be somewhat mediocre and rather ‘dark’ but this is far from that with its bright berry style; a very classy effort indeed. £8.99

Thanks to Marco for the recco on this one.

Nice one, Jules. Glad it worked out well

Now, get thee that Morellino di Scansano... I will keep annoying you about it until you do, as I *know* it'll be a memorable experience for you!

    This: https://www.majestic.co.uk/wines/mor...scansano-13849

Although Majestic do an even better one, which isn't too much more expensive: https://www.majestic.co.uk/wines/pec...scansano-13504

    That'll be a genuine mind-blower!

I turned 40 back in August

My collection has done quite well this year; I've over 30 bottles currently, but these on the top of our dresser are the keepers/long-term drinkers

The last 3 are the standout malts, the Octamore is stunning

Ah, bummer... Any idea when they're getting them back in?

See if you can find a bottle of this somewhere (I haven't used the seller in question): https://www.winebuyers.com/products/...ng&utm_term=uk

The Sella & Mosca one is particularly good: https://www.vivino.com/sella-and-mos...rdegna/w/15818

It's another absolute stunner! The wines from the Italian islands tend to all be superb, as they're only produced in small quantities using some interesting and unusual grape varieties

I used to drink Cannonau at a local pizzeria years ago - was an excellent wine.

This is the first duffer I have had from my recent Majestic haul - I'm not a big white drinker but I do like Viognier occasionally ...

I found this South African effort rather insipid, lacking those ripe peach and apricot flavours; tasted more like a cheap NZ Sauvignon than a pukka Viognier ...
