    Default Another one from Chester.

    Hi everyone.

I know one or two people on here already, and had the pleasure of meeting Marco at Owston.

My mission is to find good DIY sound for minimal expense. Doing ok so far.

    I currently use...

Homemade El34 SE tube amp with 6j5 SRPP input stage.
    Pioneer DVD575 as transport.
Cirrus Logic 4397 DAC with Lampizator tube output stage.
Homemade open baffle speakers with Audio Nirvana full range units and Eminence
    15" bass drivers.

    Hi Al,

How's it going? Welcome to the forum

"Doing ok so far". You modest man... Your stuff is excellent, particularly your DAC, which I thought was amazing for the money.

Did you find a nice home for the trophy?

Anyway, there are a few familiar faces here so I look forward to some good chats.

    Regards,
    Marco.

    Thanks Guys.

I should point out that, although i built my first pair of speakers some 35 years ago, i'm a relative newcomer to electronics and using valves.
Therefore best to regard me as a beginner.

The good news is...... that if i can do it, then anyone can.
