    as a treat I have some of this Chene d'Argent Soft French Goats Cheese on a flatbread or oatcake. its delicious .. cheapest in lidl

    Sounds revolting. Cheese is not something I want sweet stuff with. Especially pongy blue cheese.

    That's the thing, cherry jam is not sweet per se. Would you say that pickle/chutney is not sweet? They go well with cheese.

    We used to buy a very tangy Red Cheshire cheese from a wholesalers in Whitchurch.
    Essential breakfast food on crusty toast and butter with a quality raspberry jam on
