    Default garrard auto stop problem

    garrad sp 25 mk iv
the arm returns and the mechanism clicks but it doesnt shut off the motor, also the platter seems to slow down and labours as it returns. ive done all the cleaning and re greasing/oiling and im wondering if ive not put something back correctly. the auto cue doesnt work but im not fussed about that, unless its related to the fault. any advice is appreciated.
    cheers
    Mike.

I think that there are experts on the SP25 here:

    http://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/

Might even be a thread on rebuilding them.
