What one did you have Mike?

I've had three so far (480 ES, V40 T4, S70 T5), my best mate's on his fourth (480 ES, 440 GLT, S70 T5, V40 T4), my Dad had a couple (245 DL, 265 GLE) - all have been superb and the one I have now is fantastic!

Rob, my dear fellow, if you really want to be a bona fide member of the 'Volvo Club' you will require the following:

    1) One pair of faux-leather driving gloves.

    2) One slightly worn cloth cap, or woolly Russian 'Cossack' for the winter.

    3) The propensity to drive everywhere at 30 M.P.H and be oblivious to what's going on behind you.

    4) To be predisposed to driving mainly on a Sunday, and washing your car on said day whether it requires it or not.

    5) Have a penchant for playing golf and the wearing of brightly coloured Pringle V-neck jumpers and Farah 'slacks', thinking that you're appropriately dressed for the occasion.

Only then can you enter the hallowed domain of the 'Volvo Club'

    Marco.

I really don't want to think about. It was horrible.

Oh ok then, it was a 360GL.

Very solid though, I left it on a mate's drive for about two years and hoped it would just dissolve and wash away. The f***er wouldn't, I had to pay to have it carted off by a scrappy in the end. It's probably still there now, even though it's been over ten years!!!

    2) One slightly worn cloth cap, or woolly Russian 'Cossack' for the winter. Wool beanie with Volvo logo, is that close enough?

    3) The propensity to drive everywhere at 30 M.P.H and be oblivious to what's going on behind you. Ahh, you've not kept up with Volvo, should read 130mph, and then that's only on the way to 155.

    4) To be predisposed to driving mainly on a Sunday, and washing your car on said day whether it requires it or not. I'll wash it three times a week whether you like it or not!

    5) Have a penchant for playing golf and the wearing of brightly coloured Pringle V-neck jumpers and Farah 'slacks', thinking that you're appropriately dressed for the occasion. The nearest I can get is Tiger Woods on the PS3, sour cream and onion flavoured Pringles and Farah the porn model. Any good?

You know, my Mum had a 345 DL and a 340 DL, they were solid and reliable. That's all though.

I sit in an over stiffed chair and ottoman with my notebook. I am online all day (eMarketing for companies here in Baja, Mexico) and love that I get to listen to music all day long with a great view...
