    So it is not an NVA product, but an NVA inspired SSC style cable then?

    that is NVA cable...the guy probably didn't like the rca plugs NVA uses (because they are not the best plugs I've come accross)...so put his own on....The plugs that are on now are far better...so it's a better product than NVA...

    Listening with eyes again - to the phono plugs...

    The NVA plugs don't look posh, but they actually 'perform' rather well. The ONLY advantage in my opinion of the MS-Starline plugs I found is a slicker feel when using them and maybe they're easier to solder? They certainly fit the Klotz mic cables well..

    Well, it's the cable NVA (and some others) use, but NVA don't make it - you can buy it quite easily (and cheaply) off the reel. The RCA plugs NVA use are extremely nasty though .
