    Cool 'Ello 'Ello

    Hi All,

I've been browsing the forums for a while but never really posted anything.

I'm from the north of England but now based in London. I Love music and raving!

There seems to be so much good knowledge on this forum from everyone.

So my system comprises of a fair few bits and bobs as follows:

    Tag McLaren PA20R - Preamp
    Tag McLaren 125M - Monoblocs
Tag McLaren CD20R - CD Player
    Musical Fidelity V90-DAC - DAC
Musical Fidelity V90-LPS - Phono Stage
Musical Fidelity V-PSU - Power Supply for DAC & Phonostage
    Dell XPS Laptop + Tidal
    Technics 1210mk2 with a Jelco SA-750D / Ortofon 2M Blue Cart
    Monitor Audio GX100 - Speakers

Cable wise way to much to go into, it's mix of Dynamique Audio, Nordost, Cable Talk and Chord.

If anyone fancies following what I'm listening to, follow me @bhavikldn on instagram.

Here are some pictures of my deck as I'm unable to post in The Techiepedia:

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

    P.S

Do any of you guys know why I'm unable to post in The Techpedia section?

I've had to edit this post to add my pictures here instead of there.

    Cheers.

You have to make your first post in the Welcome section, so now you have done that you should be able to post anywhere.

Yes it was the top plate colour that drew me to the deck. I didn't personally spray this, I bought the deck this way already sprayed. I think it could quite possibly be someone on this forum who has done the spray job as I've seen a very similar deck on here before.

When I got the deck the chap who had it had fitted Rega RB202 and armboard, it sounded ok, but the armboard wasn't attached too well as it was actually loose. So after getting a new Mastersounds armboard it sound great, but then I tried an ISOKinetik RB301 which I was impressed with. However at the time they also offered me a great deal on the Jelco arm which I tried, and was blown away by how good it was.

I don't think I'll be making any changes for a while now though.
