Passing the test (Part 1 - the easy bit!)

Had to pop out to catch the post today so left my GF in charge of the record player. She already knows where the volume control is, but this time I showed her how to lift the arm off the record when it has finished. To my delight, on returning I found that not only had she had done so, returning the arm to the rest, she had correctly put the record back in the inner and outer sleeve.

Next step will be to show her how to put a record on the TT and cue the arm. That will be Part 2 of the test.

Well done! My daughter has learned all that but she still doesn't leave the Jelco arm rest in the up position I've told her and told her... Good luck with Part 2!

The family are not allowed in the same room as the Hi-Fi on their own. Anybody touching it will have fingers lopped off!
