    Default FS: Copland CSA14 Amp

It is again with regret that I must downsize, so I am selling/trading my beloved Copland CSA 14.

In great condition, and of course very well cared for.

    Specifications :
    Tubes............................................. ..ECC88/6922/6DJ8 x 2
Inputs............................................ ...RIAA, Tuner, Cd, Aux1, Aux2, Tape In
    Outputs........................................... .Tape Out
Output Power...................................60 watts per channel into 8 ohms
    Frequency Response........................5Hz-120kHz, -3dB
    Power Bandwidth.............................5Hz-30kHz, -3dB
    Input Sensitivity...............................Line-level 130mV;
    Phono 3mV Input Impedance..........Line-level 33k ohms; Phono 47k ohms
    Dimensions(w x d x h).....................43 x 44 x 11cm

I'm looking for £465, or cash/amp trade, any amp considered.

I'm not holding out high hopes of this one selling as it is absolutely collection only from Barry.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

    Thanks Grant.

The numbered dials remind me of safe combination dials, I always pretend I'm safe cracking when turning the volume up

I had a CSA28 amp for years, which is similar to the 14

They must be one of the best made amps there is, very solid indeed and beautifully finished, and they sound pretty good too

    Thank You.

It really is a beauty, I'm hoping it'll find a new home, but I'm not going to chance packing it, it's too nice to risk.

I know collection only is a pain in the arse, but it's worth it for this beauty.

    Don't. Sell. It.

I'm sure it seems necessary now but hold fast, you will only regret it.
