Nottingham make great arms. The Ace Anna I had was simply superb.

At that price I would go for an Audiomods I think. I would rather have a used SME IV though than the AN arms without any hesitation.
Main system: Sony TTS8000; AT1010; Audio Technica Art1; The Lentek; Cambridge 851n, Yamaha NS1000.
    System 2 - SBT; Technics SH-X1000 DAC; Denon PMA-850

An SME on a Gyro...would love a V on mine.
Supposed to be some real synergy going on there, though Ive heard some say the V can be a bit mechanical sounding?
    Maybe not on a Michell?

    He's just bought a V Charlie. :-)
“Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio”

Over my 30 years in hi fi I've had SME, Hadcock, Grace, Ittok and finally for the last 10 years an ARO which is utterly sublime.

If you can find one I promise you you won't regret it.

    Regards,

    Martin
