So was it any good, chaps and chap-ettes? Did anyone take any pics?

Unfortunately I was busy elsewhere, so couldn't go.

Yeah, it was good. I went with my friend Dave and we had a good time . The second hotel was a bit far and didn't have a lot of rooms - I wonder if that bit will happen again. The Cranage bit was very good - some odd-ball stuff, some crazy expensive etc. - I didn't take a single picture I'm afraid but may do a little write-up. Oh, there was a new idler drive turntable (made in Sheffield) that looked very nicely made indeed and sounded good too (5K to buy).

I did look out for you and Tony L - didn't see either (though I've since heard that Tone did go).

Well it was certainly better than last year's event. I had to check my sat nav several times to make sure I had the right place for the second venue. Boy they were half an hour drive apart, a good job it was in the right direction on the way home.

my goodness barrington , you certainly get around !!!
    glad you enjoyed
ou might slip, you might slide, you might
Stumble and fall by the road side
But don't you ever let nobody drag your spirit down
Remember you're walking up to heaven

Don't let nobody turn you around
… Walk with the rich, walk with the poor
Learn from everyone, that's what life is for
And don't you let nobody drag your spirit down
