And I how you get your Krell fixed, Macca. It’s horrible to have an ‘endgame’ item die on you. My Sony PS-X9 went up in flames (literally!) at the end of last year. After a search to locate some very rare components for it and a two month trip to my friend’s workbench, it’s now back up to full health again but I’m scared to turn it on...
Heard of amps going up in flames but not a turntable!

Why can't all hi-fi be indestructible like the Technics SL1200? - If there was a nuclear war all that would be left would be cockroaches, Toyota Hiluxes and SL1200s
    Current Lash Up:

    *Audiolab 6000CDT* Topping E30 * Philips 22AH380 pre-amp * NAD C320BEE power amp * JM Lab Electra 926 *

Yes, they were flames - small ones, mind you, but flames nevertheless.

The only word I can come up with is “spectacular”. I used to think the 309 I have was about 80% as good as a V. I am now revising that figure to 65%
