Default Aurorasound Vida black lacquer version

I recently received (& supplied) my first Vida phono stage in the optional black lacquer sleeve. While it passed through I had it photographed which in itself is slightly tricky with a black reflective object.

I'm pleased to learn that this one will be in use at Scalford so visitors to Rm 202 will be able to see & hear it at first hand.

The standard (wood sleeve) Vida remains at £2849. The black lacquer version is £3049. I do have a demo Vida that is available for home trials. If anyone is interested in arranging a loan of this fine sounding device (or indeed any of the other Aurorasound products) please pm me.

That looks lovely, Guy. Much cleaner looking and more modern than the wood-sleeved version, which IMO tries to 'look retro', but fails...

I know how good the Vida is, however, as I've heard it in my system and also Martin T's, and it is unquestionably a top-notch piece of kit. Therefore, I look forward to hearing it again at Scalford.

Do you know what the rest of your proposed system will be, particularly the vinyl front end?

    Marco.

Not my system I'm afraid. It's a Wammer known as Baggawire. I think he uses an Acoustic Solid TT and NS1000's so should be interesting anyhow.
