William Diehl, 'Hooligans' & 'Sharky's Machine' omnibus. I'm halfway through Hooligans so far, great crime thriller.

Been reading various Raymond Chandler books lately, very enjoyable. Just got my first Hemingway novel, 'The Old Man and The Sea', never read him before so I thought I'd find out why he's so renowned.

Just finished 'A Murder of Quality' by John LeCarre. A little old fashioned, but not stuffy as it moved along well enough, very English though.

Now started reading 'Tough Guys Don't Dance' by Norman Mailer. Not far enough into it to form a real opinion, but the style is interesting.

I'm halfway through reading (again) 'Something Rotten' by Jasper Fforde, fourth book in the Thursday Next series. These stories are great fun! Fforde's imagination takes some beating. The first in series is The Ayre Affair.
