    Think I'm beginning to agree with you, mate. Here, from the AEZ website, they are fitted to a white (brand new) Merc CLS (the shape of which I find revolting):

    Cables & Sundries: Mark Grant HDX1 interconnects and digital coaxial cable, plus Mark Grant 6mm UP-LCOFC Van Damme speaker cable. MCRU 'Ultimate' mains leads. Lehmann clone headphone amp with vintage Koss PRO-4AAA headphones.

    Tube Distinctions digital noise filter. VPI HW16.5 record cleaning machine.

    Speakers: Tannoy 15MGs in Lockwood cabinets with modified crossovers. 1967 Celestion Ditton 15.

    Personal favorite 19"'s on a black car are are the Alfa's.
    Look good on your merc, just swap the centre cap out.

    they would look great on a Brabus... big enough spaces to show the internals of the braking system too.

    Beautiful car and wheels, no doubt - but - I don't think I want to go all 'silver'.... I know exactly where Mark's coming from in that respect, about the ones that are already on the car suiting it best. I do like how evil it looks as a 'black beast', so don't want to dilute that effect too much!
