I'm not used to writing about myself so please bear with me. My audio journey started back in the early 70's I preferred to listen to music rather than watch TV. My grandfather was an audiophile and I guess I caught the "bug" from him. Anyway I have owned tube and solid state gear and a variety of speakers. Early on I was enamored with all the Japanese gear of that era. Then in the mid 80's while stationed in the U.K. I was introduced to high-end gear. A friend invited me to listen to his system (which is what all the G.I.'s did in those days - the louder the better ) Electrocompaniet integrated amp, Linn LP12, Quad ESL 63 - WOW! That's all it took. I got rid of my ADS eq, Pioneer dynamic range expander,Technics SU-V707, Bose 301's, and embarked on this journey.
